If your spouse gave you a present and announced that since it is Mother's Day he will go out and get you something for dinner, would you tell him that it wasn't really Mother's Day?

ReplyDeleteNot only would I not tell him (any reason for me not to cook is a good reason) but on the actual day I'd say "huh...WE were wrong hon...today is the day so make sure to pick something up on the way home" - Yes, I'm evil! ;)
ReplyDeleteI don't know how widespread this is, but our calender actually said Mother's Day was the 4th! We're so not tuned in that we assumed it was right. Not that we did anything special, except a nice walk with the kiddo. Now we can do it again next week!
