He could have been mine

Okay, so he is older than I am, but he was once a youth in foster care and now he has a blog.

I read the whole thing, and will keep reading it.

Here is the link to the first post. The blog is Reflections of a Foster Youth.

Go. Read. Cry.

And be glad that people like him are writing.

  1. Yolonda!

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog, leaving comments, adding a link from yours to mine (I am doing it in return).

Also thank you for being there fir GLBT youth as there are not many foster parents willing to open their homes and deal with this added issue.

Feel free to drop me a personal E addy should show up for you when this posts.

  2. I read through his blog and I have to say it was a very emotional read. I haven't even been able to comment there yet.

It made me a little homesick to hear him talk about appple butter as a good memory. It is one of my fond memories of the midwest too.

    Thanks for sharing him.

Comments will be open for a little while, then I will be shutting them off. The blog will stay, but I do not want either to moderate comments or leave the blog available to spammers.
