Sleep Study updated report

So Wednesday night Roland had the second sleep study in which he spent some part of the night wearing a CPAP. He's not sure because in order to sleep he took a sleeping pill and that messed up his sense of time. He knows that he was only able to sleep from 11:00pm to 5:30pm, far less than he normally does.

And yet after work he did not need a nap.

Anyway, the next thing he needs to do is make an appointment with the local guy. Hopefully it won't take forever.

In the good news category, the insurance is really kicking in on this one. I was afraid they wouldn't pay, but they are.

  1. Unsolicited advice...
If he does get fitted with a CPAP machine, try to make sure that he gets to try a variety of face masks -- they vary widely and some work better than others based on comfort, shape of face, etc.
    My 2 cents!

  2. It really shouldn't take long from this point. Of course none of it should have taken any time at all! But it will be a whole new day when it fially comes in and he gets used the right mask and all!

Here in Lake Woebegone we have moved to our new digs. Can I say WOW! If you have to this is the place and way to do it, they are in and out checking and monitering none stop. There is no worry about adiction here, just comfort and dignity.
