Personal Record

I slept for 15 hours last night. 15!

Roland came to ask me if I was okay at what I thought was mid-morning. I said something grumpy about being sick and just needing to sleep in a little and coudn't he just leave me alone so I could sleep? I later learned that that was at 12:30 in the afternoon.

I never sleep that long. Ever.

I'm so impressed with my sleep marathon that I am almost distracted from the reality of being sick. Well, almost.

  1. If you slept 15 hours, you must have needed it. Hope you're feeling better soon.

That was funny about the car pool - something I might do.

  2. Weird...I had a similar experience last night, only it was on the other end. If I go to bed early, like anytime before 11 I only sleep for an hour or so then I'll be up all night. I went to bed at 7:30. I figured that when they brought the baby up I'd be up for the night, but I slept until this morning (not including the waking to feed Molly, but I went right back to sleep each time!) Amazing! I think it was 13 hours for me!

  3. That is absolutely amazing. The part that amazes me the most is that your family LET you sleep. Wow! Hope you are well on the road to recovery.

  4. Sleeping in is usually the first sign for me that I'm getting sick. Once I slept for 74 hours and only got up the to pee and get something to eat.

I hope you enjoyed your nap and you feel better soon.

  5. Yep... the most amazing thing is that the family let me.

I'm still spending more hours asleep than awake.
