    I didn't really need another reason to loathe Ken Starr, but every little bit helps, you know?

    Cali needs to take a serious look at this constitutional amendment by simple majority in a referendum thing. It's ridiculously volatile, and it does no one good for the extent of civil rights to be determined, when you really get right down to it, by the group with the best ground game (and the weather, let's not forget the weather).

    We shall overcome.

    That's a wonderful video. I'm still in shock about Prop 8. Actually, I'm still in shock that my (relatively democratic) state voted to CHANGE OUR CONSTITUTION years ago and ban gay marriage.

    I posted the same video, its a very powerful video. I dont understand peoples fears around gay marriage. Prop 8 made me so angry. It shouldnt not of even been on a ballot in the first place. Maybe if everyone has a blog, can post the video so it can reach out to more people.

    I needed tissues. It does break my heart, and I'm ashamed to say that I feel powerless about the situation. It sucks.
